Insurance certificates expiring and information for travellers

The University’s current insurance covers will expire on 31st July 2017 and new insurance covers will begin at renewal on 1st August 2017.

Updated information, guidance and new documentation (including the Business Travel, Motor & Employers’ Liability certificates) will be available on the Insurance Portal Page during the week commencing 31st July 2017.

Information for Travellers

University travellers that are already overseas on a short period journey (up to two weeks) that left the UK before the 31st July, will continue to be covered under the current insurance (expiring July 31st) until that traveller returns to the UK and the journey ceases.

Long period trips (over two weeks) and journeys that commence on or after 1st August 2017 will be covered by the new insurance (commencing 1st August 2017).
