Call for Papers: LALT Seminar Series

 posted by | 19/07/2017

Lincoln MBA PortraitThe Dean of the Lincoln Academy of Learning and Teaching, Dr Garry Wilson, invites expressions of interest from colleagues for the forthcoming LALT Seminar Series.

This is a new initiative aimed at raising the profile of teaching and learning at the University of Lincoln. Envisaged as a series of seminars following the format usually employed for School/College research seminars, the series will launch in September 2017 and will take place on a monthly basis. The seminars will be interdisciplinary, and as such, will rotate among Colleges, and/or departments, and where possible, will be digitally captured.

Each seminar is expected to last an hour, considering a specific aspect of teaching or learning practice, or research for 20-30 minutes, followed by questions. The intention is to provide a space for staff not only to share existing best practice or research findings, but to seek feedback and advice from colleagues on new initiatives and ideas and to generate opportunities for cross-university networking.

Email lalt@lincoln.ac.uk to submit an expression of interest, or with any queries.
