As a manager you’ll be responsible for helping your team to look after their own wellbeing, but at the same time it’s important not to neglect yourself.

We all experience stress and adverse life events. Resilience is about your ability to cope with those and “bounce back”. Being a line manager can create many stressors and it’s important to understand and look after your own wellbeing in order to support others. This short course will help you understand your own resilience and give you some strategies to maintain or improve it.

Those attending the course will:
•Acquire a clear understanding of resilience and why it is so important
•Understand how your mind works and the difference between pressure and stress
•Provide strategies enabling you to improve your resilience and performance
•Equip you with the resources to design your own plan to get physically and mentally healthier and develop your resilience

The course is aimed at anyone who manages others, and there are no prerequisites. The next session is scheduled for 16th January.
