World Social Work Day Talk

To celebrate World Social Work day on Tuesday 20th March, the Deputy Head of the School of Health and Social Care, Dr Janet Walker ,will speak about her experiences and the School’s role in promoting the development of social work in Malawi. Dr Walker has worked in conjunction with the University of Malawi and with UNICEF to promote the profession in one of the most deprived areas of Africa.

The talk will be followed by lunch at midday in room MB3203 (Minerva Building).
