The University has recently launched the ‘Preventing and Tackling Sexual Misconduct’ module for staff, which provides information on the nature and scale of sexual misconduct within student communities, how to recognise behaviours which may contribute to or constitute sexual misconduct, and how to be an active bystander.

The module also provides staff with advice on how to support a student who discloses an incident of sexual misconduct to access support services.

To access the module, please click go to https://uol.learning.uk.com/course/view.php?id=21.

For more information about what bystander intervention is, how it works and why it is advisable for staff to complete the module, please visit the ‘Building Respect and Changing Cultures in the University Community’ blog post.
